Medline inks vendor agreement with Health Dimensions Group

MUNDELEIN - A new partnership between Medline and Health Dimensions Group will bring greater quality of care and outcomes to residents and patients nationwide.

Through the three-year prime vendor agreement, Medline will not only provide HDG facilities with cost savings on a comprehensive portfolio of products, but offer value-added programs to help achieve maximum efficiency and improved quality of care. The abaqis Quality Management System, which replicates QIS system methods and procedures to help facilities better comply with regulations, is just one solution example that can provide patient-specific care and monitor readmissions.

"In today's complex health care world, innovative partners need to do more than just deliver on price," says Mark Mega, post-acute division sales manager, Medline. "That's why we are laser focused on helping our customers achieve both clinical and financial success. We are proud of the value we bring through quality management solutions and look forward to working with HDG to share insight, efficiency and expertise."

HDG's unique business model includes management and consulting services. HDG provides management to 30 communities spanning assisted living, independent living and skilled nursing. Their nationally recognized consulting firm provides solutions to hospitals, health systems, and post-acute care providers in all 50 states. Through this exclusive partnership, HDG will provide consulting services to Medline customers and health care providers in the areas of post-acute and senior care quality, strategy, and operational and financial performance. This unique relationship will provide comprehensive solutions to both Medline and HDG's clients, positioning them for success in the rapidly changing environment of post-acute and senior care.

"Our seniors rely on us to provide quality health care services every day," says Craig Abbott, president, Health Dimensions Group. "Medline's track record of results and industry knowledge can help us unlock even more meaningful ways to deliver high quality care and outcomes. We are extremely excited for the opportunity to partner with Medline to provide quality health care solutions."
