Arlington Heights run benefits District 25 students

The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and the ABC/25 Foundation held the Just Move It! run/walk for all ages and abilities Saturday morning to raise money for the Scholarship and Grant Fund.

Last year, the event raised $15,000, drawing almost 800 participants representing nine schools in Arlington Heights Elementary District 25, with more than 400 of the runners students at the schools. This year, more than 865 people signed up.

The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs represents PTAs at District 25 schools and uses proceeds from the event to award scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attended district schools. ABC/25 Foundation is a not-for-profit organization of parents, teachers, administrators, and business leaders and uses proceeds from this event to provide funds for educational enhancements through special teacher and school grants.
