Friends of Judson annual garage sale returns May 6-7

The Friends of Judson University is having their annual garage sale on Friday and Saturday, May 6-7. All proceeds will go to scholarships for worthy students at Judson University.

The sale will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 6, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at the First Baptist Church, 1735 W. Highland Ave. on Elgin's westside.

If you would like to donate items to the garage sale, donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, May 4-5, at the church.

There will be a wide range of items for sale, including furniture, tools, children's clothing and toys, house wares, linens and bedding, seasonal items, books, jewelry and many more miscellaneous items.

Judson University is a Christian University located in Elgin, near I-90. The Friends of Judson University is a nonprofit organization, which has as its mission, to enhance the quality of student life on Judson's campus and to raise funds for scholarship for worthy students, as well as advance community interest in Judson University and in the students who attend.
