Northwest suburban townships hold annual meetings tonight
Townships across Illinois will hold their annual meetings tonight in accordance with state law. Here are the meetings in Northwest suburban townships.
Algonquin Township: 7 p.m. at the Algonquin Township building, lower Level, 3702 Route 14, Crystal Lake. On the agenda: financial statements, public comments.
Barrington Township: 7 p.m. at township hall, 602 S. Hough St., Barrington. On the agenda: a resolution to contract for senior citizen services and a review of the tentative budget.
Bloomingdale Township: 7 p.m. at the Senior Center, 6N050 Rosedale Ave., Bloomingdale. On the agenda: supervisor's annual statement for FY 2015-2016, disposal of surplus equipment, public comment.
Cuba Township: 6 p.m., Cuba Township office, 28000 W. Cuba Road, Barrington. Agenda: open forum.
Ela Township: 7:30 p.m. at Ela Township Hall, 1155 E. Route 22, Lake Zurich. On the agenda: an overview of the township budget by Supervisor Lucy Prouty and an open forum for residents.
Elk Grove Township: 7 p.m. at township center, 2400 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. On the agenda: discussion of the possible sale and purchase of township property.
Hanover Township: 7:30 p.m. at Hanover Township Senior Center, Veterans Hall, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett. On the agenda: presentation of annual financial statements by the township supervisor.
