Catch Chicago Cubs history at Des Plaines Coffee Talk

Learn about the wartime Chicago Cubs at the Coffee Talk, "Wrigley Field's Last World Series," Thursday, April 14, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Des Plaines History Center, 781 Pearson Street.

He will explore the Cubs' domination during the team's first 70 years and the profound effects World War II had on baseball. The program includes rare film footage of the 1945 World Series. A $3 donation is suggested.
