Giant frogs, family laughs among weekend's highlights

‘Ribbit! The Exhibit at Morton Arboretum

Hop on over to the Morton Arboretum to see oversized copper frogs created by North Carolina-based sculptor J.A. Cobb doing everyday human activities as part of “Ribbit! ‘Unity of Color' art exhibit

See works by local artists that reference the creations of Henri Matisse, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Vincent Van Gogh at the “Unity of Color” art exhibit at the David Adler Music and Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Opening reception is Friday, April 8, and features wine and hors d'oeuvres along with music performed by Adler Center faculty and students. Free admission.
