Serve City Athletics offering free junior beach volleyball clinics in Downers Grove, Winfield

Serve City Athletics, a youth sports organization based in Glen Ellyn, has announced it is offering free beach volleyball clinics for girls and guys ages 11 to 18 this spring. The clinics take place May 6 for girls and May 11 for guys at McCollum Park in Downers Grove and April 27 (girls) and May 4 (guys) at Oakwood Park in Winfield. The clinics run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. weather permitting.

Spots are limited at each clinic. Email tmaruyama@servecityinc.org to reserve your free spot at the clinic of your choice. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 12 players to sign up for each clinic date. For more information, email servecityathletics@gmail.com or call 630-456-1717.

Serve City is also launching a family-friendly new junior beach volleyball program this summer. The program will offer inexpensive seven-week training sessions at sand courts in Downers Grove, Winfield and Elgin starting the week of June 13.

Registration for Serve City's beach program has begun online. Families who register by June 1 will receive the regular price of $225 per session. A Serve City beach tournament jersey is included in the fee.
