Dentist to Discuss Healing Benefits Of Oral Health and Nutrition

The connection between oral health, nutrition and healing will be explained in "Cleaner Teeth, Longer Life" from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 14, in the Rasmussen South Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Dr. Lina Garcia, a holistic dentist, will share ways to eliminate and prevent mouth toxins and infections. Her strategy focuses on whole body wellness that starts with the mouth.

Attendees will gain knowledge of oral hygiene, nutrition and osteopathy.

Dr. Garcia was raised in a community in Brazil where the body's capacity for self-healing was emphasized, and she believes, "We all have a self-healing potential that I like to call 'The Health'." Her book, "Cleaner Teeth, Longer Life: What Mainstream Medicine Doesn't Know or Won't Tell You," will be available for purchase.

Registration is required for this free program. To register, call (847) 923-3347 or visit the Information Desk on the library's second floor.
