Siemens Chooses Oak Brook Clinic to Unveil Next Generation Hearing Aids

Siemens AG, one of the world's largest, most trusted medical corporations, has chosen Hearing Health Center in Oak Brook to unveil a revolutionary new line of hearing aids.

A Siemen's representative, along with the center's audiologists, will be demonstrating the new devices one-on-one with visitors next week April 6-8.

"These hearing aids are so new they haven't been released to the public yet," says Dr. Ronna Fisher Au.D. founder of the Hearing Health Center. "They're unique because they finally end "listener fatigue'".

Listener fatigue results from the great effort it takes to clearly understand conversations in challenging, noisy environments. Research shows Siemens' unprecedented technology is most beneficial in large venues like church, lectures and theaters where background noise seems overwhelming..

Dr. Fisher says, "This new technology has actually been proven to reduce listener fatigue using brain wave studies."

The groundbreaking devices isolate speakers in noisy environments, make mobile phones easier to hear, eliminate echoes and reverberations in enclosed spaces, and create richer musical quality than ever before. .

"This isn't just an incremental improvement in hearing aids," says Dr. Fisher. "This is a major step forward and we're just delighted a company like Siemens has chosen to partner with our center to introduce it."

Siemens AG chose Hearing Health Center because the facility has been a pioneer in the hearing aid industry for over 30 years. The center was first clinic in America to fit in-the-canal hearing aids, the first in Chicago to offer digital hearing aid technology, and the first in Chicago and western suburbs to offer the invisible, extended wear Lyric hearing aid. The Hearing Health Center has also been voted best Audiology practice in Illinois three years in a row and most recently received the outstanding audiology service award from the State of Illinois.

"I wear hearing aids," says Dr. Fisher. "I know about 'listener fatigue' and how hard it is to hear clearly in many environments. It's frustrating and exhausting. The new Siemens technology allowed me to sit back and relax. This is truly a 'WOW! and I can't wait to share that experience next week."

The Siemens AG unveiling will take place next week,Aug. 6-8, from 8AM-7PM at Hearing Health Center, 120 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, IL. Anyone who wants to experience this device before it becomes available to the rest of the public can call the Hearing Health Center at 630-657-0070 to make an appointment for a private demonstration.
