Police: West Dundee bank latest hit in string of robberies

The man suspected of robbing a Carol Stream bank and three others in Chicago struck again Tuesday in West Dundee, authorities said.

The FBI says the man robbed the TCF Bank branch inside the Jewel-Osco at 1250 W. Main St. at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. No weapon was displayed.

Authorities believe the suspect was involved in the robbery of West Suburban Bank, 1380 Army Trail Road in Carol Stream, on March 8.

They also say the man robbed a Guaranty Bank at 4620 S. Damen Ave. March 10, Citibank at 2801 W. Devon Ave. on March 12, and Guaranty Bank at 7030 S. Ashland Ave. on March 21 - all in Chicago.

He is described as a bald black man, early to mid 30s, medium build, about 6 feet and roughly 185 pounds. He has tattoos on both forearms.
