Our Lady of Humility K. of C. donates to NorthPointe Resources

Submitted by NorthPointe Resources Inc.

Our Lady of Humility Knights of Columbus Council 13598 donated more than $1,800 to NorthPointe Resources.

Funds were raised collaboratively with NorthPointe Resources through the annual K. of C. Tootsie Roll Drive. The generous donation was presented by Grand Knight Richard McFarlin at a church gathering hosted by the K. of C. and received by Director of Development Deborah Rabine and Training Director Pat Winn.

The Tootsie Roll Drive was conducted last September at local businesses which included Wal-Mart and Piggly Wiggly. All of the donations are to benefit those with disabilities. NorthPointe has been the designated recipient of the fundraiser for the past several years. Both the Knights of Columbus and NorthPointe Resources would like to thank the local businesses and contributors for their continued generous support of the annual fundraiser.

Since 1953, NorthPointe Resources has served people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental illness in Northern Illinois counties. NorthPointe Resources offers a variety of support services developed to ensure program participants achieve the highest levels of independence and community involvement. Every year there are approximately 500 participants in NorthPointe's community-focused award-winning programs. For more information, visit www.NorthPointeResources.org.
