Mount Prospect District 57 gets new finance chief from Bloomingdale District 13

Adam Parisi is leaving Bloomingdale School District 13 to become Mount Prospect District 57's assistant superintendent for finance and operations.

Parisi, who is chief school business official, director of finance and district treasurer, will assume his new position July 1. His appointment was approved March 17 by the school board.

Parisi previously was an acting principal and assistant principal in Elmwood Park. He also has been a teacher and coach, mostly in Schaumburg. He replaces Dale Falk, who has accepted a position in Northbrook Glenview District 30.

"He is well equipped to lead the district's finances during this challenging time in Illinois," Elaine Aumiller, District 57 superintendent of schools said in a news release.

In addition to finances, Parisi will be responsible for facilities, food service, student fees and transportation.

"District 57 has an excellent reputation, and I am extremely excited about this opportunity for myself and my family," Parisi said in the release. "I look forward to the challenge of seeing the district through the complicated financial situation that the entire state is facing."
