Here's who won in contested Cook judicial primary races

Suburban voters Tuesday picked primary winners in six contests to fill Cook County court vacancies, according to vote totals from the Cook County clerk's website and the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners. Results are unofficial and incomplete,

In one of the closer Republican races, Kevin Michael O'Donnell of Park Ridge won with 18,347 votes or 53 percent to edge past Gary W. Seyring of Schaumburg with 14,788 votes, or 47 percent for judge in the 13th Subcircuit, which includes parts of Arlington Heights, Barrington, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Schaumburg and Streamwood. There were 197 of 225 precincts reporting.

In the 11th Subcircuit, which includes parts of Chicago and Des Plaines, Democrat Catherine Anne Schneider of Oak Park, won with 22,589 votes or 40 percent with 244 of 250 precincts reporting. Her competitors were Marc Martin of Park Ridge with 21,687 or 36 percent, and James DiChristofano of Elmwood Park with 11,773 or 23 percent.

For a vacancy in the 12th Subcircuit, which includes parts of Wheeling, Elk Grove, Maine, New Trier and Northfield townships, Republican Steven A. Kozicki of Prospect Heights won with 17,424 votes or 56 percent over Alex Kaplan of Glencoe with 13,611 votes or 44 percent. The 12th Subcircuit had 237 of 241 precincts reporting.

Also in the 12th Subcircuit, Democrat Marguerite Anne Quinn of Winnetka is the winner in unofficial results, with 17,114 or 45 percent over Louis George Apostol of Northfield with 4,597 votes or 12 percent, Jennifer E. Bae of Mount Prospect with 11,861 or 31 percent, and Frank J. Andreou of Northbrook with 4,809 votes or 12 percent with 214 precincts of 241 reporting.

Running for another vacancy in the 12th Subcircuit, Democrat Janet Cronin Mahoney of Glenview has won with 28,350 votes or 79 percent against Adam Scott Mathein of Glenview with 7,644 votes or 21 percent.

And in the race for another vacancy in the 12th Subcircuit Democrat James Edward Hanlon Jr. of Northbrook has won with 23,085 votes or 65 percent over Allan W. Masters of Glencoe with 12,481 votes or 35 percent with 214 precincts of 241 reporting.
