Upgrade your computer skills at Oakton

There's still time to enroll in classes at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines, to enhance business skills while saving money in the process. This spring, Oakton is offering free vouchers to take Microsoft Office certification exams to students who successfully complete a range of computer application for business (CAB) courses. Classes start the week of March 21.

Register for at least one in the series and complete it with a score of 70 percent or higher, and earn a free voucher (worth $85) per class to take a Microsoft Office certification exam. Students who previously completed courses are not eligible for vouchers. For more information about start dates, visit www.oakton.edu.

Other classes starting the week of March 21 provide the opportunity to upgrade technical skills. These also include computer information systems (CIS) courses: Computers for New Users (CIS 090), Introduction to Computer Information Systems (CIA 101), Performance Tuning (CIS 247) and WordPress (CIS 290).
