Adults can join egg hunt in Schaumburg

An Adult Only Flashlight Egg Hunt is set for 7-9 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road. Participants 21 and older are invited to bring flashlights and search for eggs in the dark. Hunt locations include the basketball court, fitness studio and tennis courts.

Although certain eggs will contain grown-up prizes such as lottery tickets, others will have candy for the child in everyone.

Drinks and complimentary appetizers will be available at the STP Sports Grill after the hunt. Participants receive one free alcoholic beverage. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

"The district does not host many adult-only events, so we thought we'd try something different just for them," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. "STP is a great facility for this type of activity."

Preregistration is required by Friday, March 11. Cost is $12 for residents and $15 for nonresidents.
