Palatine Township honors Blue Star families

Five Palatine Township families were recently presented Blue Star Banners and Special Resolutions by Clerk Lisa Moran and Supervisor Langlotz-Johnson, and honored by the full Palatine Township board.

Sen. Matt Murphy presented each family a Senate Proclamation and Rep. Tom Morrison presented personal letters of recognition. In addition, the Eich and Mamon families were honored by Inverness Mayor Jack Tatooles; the Alesch and Pfeiffer families were honored by Rolling Meadows Mayor Tom Rooney; and the Conklin family was honored by Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz.

Palatine Township launched its Blue Star Banner Program in June of 2011 in order to give its residents the opportunity to show their support to the family members of those serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The township presents Blue Star Banners three times each year.
