Firefighters host St. Baldrick's fundraiser

Fire departments from Lake and Cook counties will combine on a St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser. Hosted by the Wheeling Firefighters Association and the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Professional Firefighters, the event will be 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at HOME Bar, 1227 N. Rand Road in Arlington Heights. At least 150 guests are expected to have their heads shaved to raise money in support of children fighting cancer. Wheeling Fire Chief Keith MacIsaac and Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Chief Tom Krueger are expected to be sheared. A silent auction, prize raffles and a special children's area will be part of the day.
