CLC speaker to discuss heart disease

College of Lake County will have a series of guest speakers on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The first session will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8. Edward B. Thorp will speak about "Before the Clinic: Basic Research to Identify New Molecular Targets of Heart Disease." Thorp will be in the C Wing auditorium, Room C005, on CLC's Grayslake campus. Thorp is a professor of pathology at Northwestern University.
