CLC sponsors Adult Education Student Success Fair

The College of Lake County Adult Basic Education, GED and ESL division, is holding a Student Success Fair from 9 a.m. to noon and 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the CLC Lakeshore Campus, 1 N. Genesee St., second floor, Waukegan.

Attendees can meet career program faculty, learn about career certificates and speak with staff from CLC's Career and Job Placement Center, Financial Aid and Enrollment Services offices and the Job Center of Lake County.

The following CLC career programs and departments will participate in the fair:

• Healthcare/Horticulture: certified nurse assistant, medical assisting, health information technology, phlebotomy, horticulture.

• Business/Culinary Arts/Education: administrative office systems, digital media and design, computer information technology, early childhood education, hospitality and culinary management.

• Automotive and Manufacturing: automotive technology, automotive collision repair, computerized numerical control, mechatronics, HVAC engineering technology, welding.

• Vocational training from CLC's Workforce and Professional Development Institute: forklift operator, personal care aide, real estate, pharmacy technician and truck driver vocational programs.
