District 212 Annual East vs. West Faculty Basketball Game Fundraiser

DISTRICT 212 ANNUAL EAST VS. WEST FACULTY FOOTBALL GAME FUNDRAISER AT WEST LEYDEN

The annual East Leyden vs. West Leyden Faculty Basketball Game Fundraiser will be on tap Thursday, February 25 beginning at 7 p.m. in the field house at West Leyden High School, 1000 N. Wolf Road, Northlake.

The Sports & Entertainment Marketing classes at each campus are raising funds for the family of Leyden alum, Greg Morgan. Morgan died a few weeks ago, soon after returning to the area to spend his last days with his family. His medical transport from Seattle cost $35,000. Funds raised at the game will go to help pay the credit card bill.

Students are selling T-shirts for $10 to support the event. Buy and wear a shirt to the game and enter the game for free. For those who don't have a shirt, admission is $3.

With the support of the local community, the students have assembled a raffle with various prizes including Bulls tickets, Wolves tickets, restaurant gift cards, Starbucks baskets, bowling ball and much more.
