Woodland District 50 to host kindergarten registration

Woodland Elementary District 50 will host 2016-17 kindergarten registration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12, at Woodland Primary School, 17366 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. This is a walk-in event, no appointment is necessary and children are welcome. Registration packets are available on the website, https://www.dist50.net and at the Educational Support Center at 1105 N Hunt Club Road, Gurnee, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. before registration. Kindergarten students who will enter District 50 for the 2016-17 school year must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. Original county issued birth certificates are required at registration. Two proofs of residency will also be required. Information regarding these requirements is in the registration packet. Physicals, dental and vision exams do not need to be completed before registration.
