Open Arms Solutions awarded 'Provider' and 'Employer of Choice'

Thanks to excellent client and caregiver feedback, Open Arms Solutions was recognized among the nation's top-rated home care providers with 2016 Best of Home Care Awards for "Provider of Choice" and "Employer of Choice" from Home Care Pulse, the home care industry's leading satisfaction management firm.

"We are thrilled to receive these awards recognizing our quality home care and to know that our clients, families and employees think highly of us!" said Open Arms Founder and President Julie Kollada, whose personal caregiver experience with her own mother led to the creation of the Northbrook-based company. "Based on my experience caring for my mother, I made a long-term commitment to giving back, guiding families through the toughest of times, and helping seniors and the infirm regain, maintain and preserve their quality of life."

Open Arms Solutions' team of well-trained, thoroughly screened and monitored caregivers offers in-home support including personal care, companion care, homemaking services, nursing and respite, transitional and Alzheimer's care and has served hundreds of families since opening in 2009.

"I love being part of the positive Open Arms caregiver team, because I get the opportunity to change the world for clients in an eight-hour shift," says Open Arms Solutions Caregiver Leitha Watkins.

Home Care Pulse conducts live, random phone interviews with clients and caregivers to gather feedback. The awards are based on scores from several categories, including compassion, work ethic, communication and training.
