Creating sustainable environments

Empowering communities to create sustainable environments is the topic of discussion at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Stevenson Center on Democracy, 25200 N. St. Mary's Road, Mettawa. Molly Flanagan, vice president of policy, Alliance for the Great Lakes; Eleanor Revelle, president Citizens' Greener Evanston; and Beth Drucker, co-facilitator of the Consortium of North Shore Environmental Groups and president of the board of Go Green Wilmette, will share information about grass-roots coalitions combating climate change.
