Palatine parks host paint night for adults

The Palatine Park District will present a Paint Night for adults from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in the Palatine Hills Clubhouse, 512 W. Northwest Highway.

The event is for those ages 21 and older. No previous experience is necessary and all supplies will be provided.

The evening's painting will be a city skyline piece. The fee is $50 for residents and $63 for nonresidents, and includes all materials to complete the painting, along with light snacks. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from the clubhouse bar.

Registration is required and can be completed in person at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. Online registration is also available at www.palatineparks.org using program code 143110-02.

The evening's instructor, Brooke Dahmen, is a media artist and animator with a love for fine arts and crafting.
