Presentation on Gurnee and Underground Railroad

Gurnee's Underground Railroad stop will be the subject of a presentation at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20. Dramatist Terry Lynch of Histories for Kids will be the host and explain how a safe house on the Underground Railroad was operated along with others in the Chicago area. It'll be part of the library's Black History Month celebration. The library is at 224 N. O'Plaine Road. For more information, call (847) 244-5150, ext. 5.
