Sporting routs Nacional to reclaim sole lead in Portugal
LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Sporting Lisbon got two goals from Islam Slimani in a 4-0 win at Nacional as it reclaimed the sole lead of the Portuguese league from Benfica on Saturday.
Sporting moved three points clear with the win after Benfica lost 2-1 at home to third-place FC Porto on Friday.
Slimani opened the scoring in the third minute and got his second with a late penalty. Inbetween Slimani's goals, Adrien Silva also scored with a spot kick and Joao Mario added a third goal.
Also Saturday, Belenenses won 3-2 at Moreirense while Setubal drew 2-2 at Guimaraes.
