No. 23 DePaul women beat Xavier 82-52

CHICAGO (AP) - Ashton Millender had 15 points and No. 23 DePaul had six others score at least eight points in an 82-52 win over Xavier on Friday night.

DePaul (20-7, 12-2 Big East) scored the first 11 points of the third quarter to lead 51-21 and the Musketeers got no closer than 28 from there.

The Blue Demons missed their first seven shots of the game while Xavier started with a 7-0 lead. DePaul then went on a 27-3 run spanning the first two quarters on its way to a 40-21 lead at the half.

Megan Podkowa, Jessica January and Amarah Coleman each had nine points. Jacqui Grant, Chanise Jenkins and Mart'e Grays scored eight.

Marquia Turner led Xavier (17-7, 8-5) with 14 points and Imani Partlow added 11. The Musketeers went 0 for 11 from 3-point range with seven different players making an attempt.
