Freshman Young hits game-winner for Harvest Christian
Harvest Christian 65, Hinckley-Big Rock 64: Freshman Grant Young hit the game-winning shot with 7.3 seconds to play as the Lions (7-19) notched a nonconference win on the road. Brett Cramer led Harvest with 20 points with Chad Jakel adding 10.
McHenry 61, Cary-Grove 46: In the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division, Daniel Schmidt had 17 points and Zach Beagureau 12 for Cary-Grove (6-17, 3-6).
North Shore Country Day 71, Elgin Academy 51: Jonathan Cruz had 20 points and Dee Robinson 14 for Elgin Academy (6-13, 2-9) in the Independent School League.
