Police: Man, woman dead after apparently shooting each other

GARY, Ind. (AP) - Gary police say a man and woman involved in domestic dispute are dead after apparently shooting each other.
The Gary Police Department said in a news release that police responded to a gunshot victim call early Thursday morning and found the man and woman dead inside the residence. The release said a preliminary investigation indicates the two were involved in a domestic dispute and apparently shot each other.
The (Munster) Times (http://bit.ly/1PQJYTV ) reports police Lt. Thomas Pawlak said a witness got children in the residence into another room before the man shot first and the woman fired back.
