Trinidad and Tobago rallies to beat Guatemala 2-1

HOUSTON (AP) - Kennya Cordner and Tasha St. Louis scored within about four minutes in the second half to give Trinidad and Tobago a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Guatemala on Thursday night in a group stage match in the CONCACAF women's Olympic qualifying tournament.

Ana Lucia Martinez's penalty kick in the 18th minute gave Guatemala the early lead. But shortly after Corner's header in the 74th, St. Louis blasted a goal in the 78th to go ahead.

Neither team has ever played in the Olympics. The tournament for the North and Central and Caribbean region runs through Feb. 21. The two top teams in the eight-team field will earn a spot in the Rio Games.

Guatemala and Trinidad are playing in a group with Canada and Guyana, who meet in the late match at BBVA Compass Stadium. The U.S. is playing in the opposite group
