Superheroes, politics at Gurnee library

Warren-Newport Public Library, 224 N. O'Plaine Road, Gurnee, will have a program Saturday on how superheroes have shaped public opinion and influenced American politics. It start at 10 a.m. with Brian Russell showing comics as a consistent and prevalent source of propaganda over the last century. Check-in and refreshments start at 9:30 a.m.
