Hanover Township launches new website

Hanover Township recently announced the launch of its new website, www.hanover-township.org. After many months of design and content migration, the new site is fully functional and much easier for residents to navigate.

The new website features a homepage with a user-friendly layout, links to the township's social media and buttons to easily access township news, along with meeting agendas and minutes. The township's calendar of events is prominently featured on the homepage, searchable by department, with information on all programs and events. The township's award-winning transparency center also was enhanced on the new website that allows residents to view financial audits, treasurer's reports, and meeting minutes and agendas for at least the previous five years.

"The township prides itself at being at the forefront of web-based accessibility for our residents," said Brian P. McGuire, Hanover Township supervisor. "The new website is a great resource for our residents of all ages, and their families, to access information on our many programs and services. I encourage everyone to take a look at the website and see all that the township has to offer."

With ever-changing technology, more and more people view the internet on their smartphones or tablets. The new Hanover Township website also features responsive design that allows for automatic, optimal viewing of the site regardless of the type of device being used. Google Translate is another new feature on the website, allowing users to have the website translated into virtually any language with the click of a button.

Mobile and tablet users can also download the township app for iPhone/iPad and Android devices. In addition to easily accessing the township's social media accounts, users can view township news and events along with information on programs and services. Residents can also directly contact township officials and staff from the app.

To download the app, iPhone and Android users can visit the App Store and search for Hanover Township.
