COD Presents 'Paper Tigers' Film Screening March 8

College of DuPage will present a screening and discussion of the documentary film "Paper Tigers" from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

This screening is free and open to the public.

Presented in collaboration with the College of DuPage Student Education Association and the Illinois Education Association, "Paper Tigers" documents a year in the lives of several students at an alternative school that specializes in educating traumatized youth. Directed by James Redford and produced by Karen Pritzker, the film examines the inspiring promise of trauma informed communities - a movement that is showing great promise in healing youth struggling with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES).

A panel discussion and light refreshments will follow the screening.

Registration for this screening will be open through March 7. Please click here to register.
