Lombard Garden Club is Accepting Applications for Their 2016 College Scholarship

The Lombard Garden Club is offering a $750.00 college scholarship to a 2015 Lombard high school senior, home-schooled student or student currently enrolled in a college program of environmental science, ecology, landscape design or horticulture. Deadline for applications is April 15, 2016. The requirements for applying to receive this scholarship are: applicants must be a Lombard resident, be involved in extra curricular activities, provide information about grades, provide two recommendation letters and include a statement of career goals. This information is to be sent to Scholarship Chairman Barbara Muzzy, 135 W. Windsor Avenue, Lombard, Illinois, 60148. Any questions can be directed to Muzzy at 630-620-9388. The winner will be selected by May 1, 2016.
