Oklahoma defensive line coach Reynolds leaving

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma has announced that defensive line coach Diron Reynolds is leaving the program to take an assistant coaching position at another school.

In Reynolds' only season with the Sooners, they led the Big 12 in total defense, scoring defense, passing defense, pass efficiency defense rating and sacks per game on their way to a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Oklahoma also finished second in the league in rushing defense and interceptions per game. The Sooners won the conference title and finished with an 11-2 record and a No. 5 final AP ranking.
