Wheeling leaders to give state of the community address Thursday
Updated Feb. 11 to correct who is speaking at the event
A variety of public officials will discuss the state of the community at a presentation tonight in Wheeling.
Professional staff from participating taxing districts will speak: Indian Trails Public Library Director Brian Shepard, Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 Superintendent Dr. Kate Hyland, Wheeling High School Principal Angela Sisi on behalf of Northwest Suburban High School District 214, Wheeling Village Manager Sfondilis and Wheeling Park District Executive Director Jan Buchs.
The event will be held at the Chevy Chase Country Club, 1000 N. Milwaukee Ave., from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Community leaders are expected to provide updates and engage in discussion on projects and initiatives in the village.
The event is open to the public, and registration is not necessary. Dessert and coffee will be served.
