3rd Annual 4-H Robotics Showcase

Antioch, IL- February 8, 2016- This April, University of Illinois Extension 4-H Metro Educator Sandra Prez will be holding the 3rd Annual 4-H Robotics Showcase at Antioch Upper Grade School, 800 Highview Drive in Antioch, Illinois. The event will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. This is a free family event and is open to the public.

The theme for this year's challenge is Dog Agility where teams of middle school youth will program teams of Dog-bots to autonomously complete events that are similar to events used in Dog Agility events. Bring the kids and come meet the Dog-bots!

The Robotics Showcase is the culminating event for University of Illinois Extension's Growing 4-H Science Robotics Clubs. Youth have the opportunity to show off what they have learned in their Robotics Clubs throughout the school year. Outstanding teams will receive trophies for robot design, teamwork and creativity.
