Writing workshop in Schaumburg Feb. 12

Various techniques for developing plots in novels will be explained in a workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in the kidsZone Program Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

This free workshop is open to the public and sponsored by the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW).

KiteTales is for those who prefer developing the plot as they write, without mapping it out in advance. The Hero's Journey technique uses ancient story structures to create compelling storylines.

Attendees do not need to bring a finished manuscript, but are welcome to bring notes from a work in progress.
