Ex-Aurora man gets 6 years for child sex abuse

A former Aurora man was sentenced Thursday to six and a half years in prison for sexually abusing a child he knew, Kane County officials said. Florencio Rivera, 33, agreed to the sentence in exchange for pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Full story.

County wants $6,000 from Lake Zurich-area homeless opponents
