Mundelein High School to host Winter Honors Band Concert

The Mundelein High School Instrumental Music Department will present its Winter Honors Band Concert, Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. The free concert will feature pieces performed by the Honors Wind Ensemble and the Honors Symphonic Band. Some of the works to be performed include "San Antonio Dances" by Frank Ticheli, "Australian Up-Country" by Percy Grainger, "Chorale and Shaker Dance" by John Zdechlik, "March Grandioso arr. Alfred Reed, Wild Nights!" by Frank Ticheli, "First Suite in E-flat by Gustav Holst", "Semper Fidelis" by John Philip Sousa and "Irish Tune from County Derry" by Percy Grainger.
