Northbrook Library Celebrates President's Month with Voter Registration, Other Events

February is a time to remember presidents past and look towards the future. Just in time for the start of primaries and caucuses, the Northbrook Public Library is offering three exciting events to help you celebrate President's Month:

Register to Vote

For one day only, you can register to vote at the Northbrook Public Library, just in time for the primary election.

Tuesday, February 16, 9am-9pm, Reference Desk

Presidential Campaigns: Continuity and Change

Arthur Cyr discusses recent changes in the presidential election process, such as the rise of presidential primaries, the end of restrictions on spending, the importance of the two main political parties, and the growth of pervasive mass media.

Tuesday, February 16, 7-8:30pm, Pollak Room

Meet Abe Lincoln

American history comes to life with R. J. Lindsey's dramatic portrayal of Abraham Lincoln, sharing stories about his life and the crises he faced during the Civil War period.

Sunday, February 28, 2-3:30pm, Auditorium

Each of the above events are free and open to the public.
