Caregivers Can Learn About End-of-Life Legalities at Support Group Seminar

The Barrington Area Council on Aging is hosting a special seminar on the legalities surrounding end-of-life issues at its monthly Alzheimer's Support Group meeting Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E. Main St., Barrington.

"There are a host of legal considerations when evaluating end-of-life issues that can leave many caregivers confused and anxious," said Pam Pellizzari, BACOA's social services coordinator. "This seminar is meant to help walk caregivers through the process."

Local attorney Rena A. Ballard will provide participants with information on necessary healthcare documents. She will also be available to answer questions.

The program is free but registration is required. BACOA's Alzheimer's Support Group meets the second Wednesday of every month. Contact Pellizzari for more information at (847) 881-0473.
