PSV tops Eredivisie after round 21 as Ajax draws with Roda

AMSTERDAM (AP) - Ajax squandered a two-goal lead and conceded an injury-time equalizer Sunday against Roda JC Kerkrade to leave defending champion PSV Eindhoven atop the Dutch Eredivisie.

PSV beat last-placed De Graafschap Doetinchem 4-2 Saturday night to go top. Roda substitute Maecky Ngombo made sure the Eindhoven team stayed there when he headed home a corner in the second minute of injury time to earn a 2-2 draw with Ajax.

Arek Milik and Anwar El Ghazi had given Ajax a two-goal cushion in the first half, but Rydell Poepon cut the lead before the break.

Ngombo's last-gasp header condemned Ajax to its second draw of the week and ensured PSV would stay top of the Eredivisie, one point ahead of Ajax after 21 rounds.
