Website offers manufacturing job internships
The Golden Corridor Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (GCAMP) has a new website to better educate youth about careers in advanced manufacturing.
The website, available at gcamp.org, offers important information about manufacturing careers and paid student internships.
The GCAMP site also offers assistance to students and parents who will be making critical postsecondary education decisions in light of the high costs of a traditional college education.
GCAMP works with high school districts 211 and 214 in helping students secure engineering and manufacturing summer internships. The GCAMP website posts these opportunities in the spring.
