The time to stop abortion is now

On January 22, 1995, The Clinton administration invited Mother Teresa to be keynote speaker at the National Prayer Breakfast. Last week we reached the 43rd anniversary of the most egregious Supreme Court decision of this formerly great nation. Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton allowed for abortion on demand any time during the first nine months of God's children.

On January 22, 2016, thousands of Americans, led by an growing informed youth, met for the 43rd time in Washington, D.C. to ask for this great evil to end. Over this period, over 57,000,000 children have died, often led by the insatiable appetite of Planned Parenthood for yet more blood money.

At the aforementioned breakfast, today's Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton asked Mother Teresa if she was surprised that America has never had a female president. Her answer "No, because she probably was killed in an abortion!"

Most telling her next remark, "If we accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell others not to kill one another?" How prescience Mother Teresa was, as we now see how cheap life has become for all of us.

How prescience Mother Teresa's remarks were, and how needed they are to be heeded today, as we see where this has led our country.

May God have mercy on the United States of America.

Thanks for helping pets

During the cold and inclement winter months many stray, displaced, neglected and abandoned animals suffer. Fortunately, our area has many excellent and compassionate animal agencies including PAWS Chicago, Save A Pet, the Buddy Foundation, the Hooved Animal Humane Society and the Hooved Animal Rescue and Protection Society. They have leaders, staffs and volunteers who tirelessly work to save and protect the lives of dogs, cats, horses, ponies, rabbits and other companion animals. The world is not a friendly place for animals but it's very encouraging to know that there are several organizations committed to making life better for our fellow creatures.
