Thank you for taking care of pets in winter
During the cold and inclement winter months many stray, displaced, neglected and abandoned animals suffer. Fortunately, our area has many excellent and compassionate animal agencies including PAWS Chicago, Save A Pet, the Buddy Foundation, the Hooved Animal Humane Society and the the Hooved Animal Rescue and Protection Society. They have leaders, staffs and volunteers who tirelessly work to save and protect the lives of dogs, cats, horses, ponies, rabbits and other companion animals. The world is not a friendly place for animals but it's very encouraging to know that there are several organizations committed to making life better for our fellow creatures.
