McHenry Country Club names marketing director

MCHENRY - McHenry Country Club has hired Laura Lewis to the newly created position of membership marketing director.

Lewis will market and promote the club with the goal of increasing golf and social memberships, retaining current members and promoting events and their private party and wedding venue. She will work closely with new and current members to make sure they are acclimating to the club environment and receiving maximum benefit and enjoyment.

Lewis has previously worked in McHenry Country Club in a different capacity and has a strong connection with the members and the organization. Prior to coming to the Club, Lewis was a Legal Assistant in a compliance department.

Lewis will host an Open House from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Feb. 28 to provide tours of the facility, answer questions about membership and treat her guests to a sampling of the Club's cuisine. Anyone interested in learning more asked to RSVP at (815) 385-1072 or LauraL@McHenryCountryClub.com.

Established in 1922, McHenry Country Club is a private country club situated on a beautiful setting in McHenry, overlooking the Fox River at 820 N. John St., McHenry.
