PM&L Theatre presents 'Uncommon Women and Others'

Wendy Wasserstein's first play, "Uncommon Women and Others," will open at PM&L Theatre Jan. 29 and run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for three weeks.

"Uncommon Women and Others" is a dramatic comedy telling the story of alumnae from Mount Holyoke College meeting for lunch in 1978 to talk about their experiences - some raunchy, others sobering. Regina Reynolds directs this production. Her previous PM&L directing credits include "Censored on Final Approach" and "Once Upon a Mattress."

Because of adult content and language, the show is recommended for audiences aged 16 and older.

"Uncommon Women and Others" will run at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 29 and 30 and Feb. 5, 6, 12 and 13; and 2:30 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 and 14. Tickets are available online at www.pmltheatre.com and are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors and students.
