Pihos should get nod for COD board

With regard to the College of DuPage's open board position, why would the board disregard the voters of DuPage County?

Why would someone be selected to an elected board position, one who did not take the time to run for that position; a person who did not want the job enough to seek their constituents' votes?

A person who did not put in the time and the money needed to run a campaign to be elected? Why would they not look to those who ran and choose from those who took the time and the effort and look to what the voters said?

Sandra Pihos garnered the next most votes and should be the one to hold the position. The election was not that long ago and had they been looking for four board members at that time she would have been elected.

By the way, Pihos has all the credentials for the position; she is an educator, a past president of the District 87 school board, and an elected state representative. She has a proven record of solving problems in a bipartisan matter. Sandra Pihos was the voters' next best choice.
