No-show COD trustees should resign

Trustees McGuire, Birt and Wozniak were on the College of DuPage board that hired Dr. Breuder. They willingly facilitated his tumultuous reign.

Their latest contribution was a "no-show" stunt intended to disrupt board meetings. Thanks to their dismal oversight and petty antics, the academic future of the students is in serious jeopardy.

In 2015, three other members of the previous board ran for re-election. They were rejected by the voters. The issues and deadlines facing the school now are too severe to wait for the next election. For the good of the College of DuPage, Trustees McGuire, Birt and Wozniak should resign and get out the way. They had their chance. When they were in the majority, they welcomed in Dr. Breuder, turned him loose and looked the other way.

The students and stuff deserve much better representation, as do the taxpayers.
